Health-Insurance Recognised.
What Does This Mean?
Many people search for a health-insurance-recognised therapist.
In Switzerland, however, this term is not always entirely accurate:
Therapeutic massage and complementary therapy treatments are generally not covered by compulsory basic health insurance.
Depending on the insurer, the chosen supplementary health insurance plan and the individual policy, a contribution towards costs may be available through supplementary health insurance.
At Elysium Healing,
selected treatments are recognised within the framework of Therapeutic Massage, Method 33:
Classical Massage: (for musculoskeletal complaints, muscular tension, and acute or chronic pain)
Manual Lymphatic Drainage: (for fluid retention and swelling, chronic, post-operative or post-traumatic congestion, stress-related conditions, and to support the healing process)
Complex Decongestive Therapy (CDT) and Bandaging: (for lymphatic congestion and oedema – following medical assessment or prescription)
Foot Reflexology Massage: (for stress-related conditions, pain, and functional organ-related complaints)
Important:
Health-insurance-recognised therapeutic treatments are provided following an assessment and for a specific health-related concern. Pure relaxation and wellness treatments are not billed through supplementary health insurance.
If you are mainly looking for relaxation, regeneration and a restorative break, Elysium Healing offers a wide selection of spa programmes, body treatments, Ayurvedic treatments and other relaxation experiences.
Every supplementary health insurer has its own rules. Before your first treatment, please contact your insurer directly to clarify whether your supplementary insurance covers the treatment, which method is included and the amount of reimbursement available.

Payment and Treatment Packages
Health-insurance-recognised treatments are paid for at Elysium Healing on the day of treatment, just like all other treatments.
For your treatment, you will receive a reimbursement receipt, which you can submit to your supplementary health insurer. Treatment packages are also available for health-insurance-recognised treatments.
Your Time Belongs to You
At Elysium Healing, 60 minutes of therapy means 60 minutes of hands-on treatment.
Your health-history consultation, changing clothes and preparation do not reduce your treatment time.
For your first appointment, we allow an additional 30 minutes for the health-history consultation; the first appointment therefore has a separate price.
We also leave enough time before and after each appointment so you can arrive and leave without feeling rushed.
